University of Sydney

 

BlueSkyBlue on the University’s panel, currently has a team of professionals in development management and project management.  Working crucial $1 billion project rollout over the coming years, aligning with the University's 2032 strategy.

Projects within this extensive portfolio include addressing the growing need for student accommodation,  to undertaking large- scale retail precinct projects and campus wide student experience improvements. 


NSW Government, School Infrastructure

 

Contract to Department of Education, School Infrastructure NSW working in the roles as a Delivery Project Director, Planning Project Director and a Director role of Partnerships. Conduction of capital works management and the implementation and delivery of a range of projects, in a growing portfolio that is the largest capital investment in public education infrastructure in the history of NSW, now over $10 billion invested. The roles also include management of cross-government relationships with Sydney councils, Greater Sydney Commission and Transport NSW etc.


Sydney Airport Corporation

 

Working with Sydney Airport Corporation over 4 years delivering on the capital works management and the implementation of terminal projects. Management of the delivery approach underpinning the redevelopment philosophy and 5 year investment strategy which involves the management and delivery of capital works in excess of $85m per annum as part of an overall investment program of over $1 billion.

BlueSkyBlue successfully delivered 3 key, major projects. Leading teams through concept, feasibility, business case approval funding, and defining project deliverables. Developing the program, manage and lead the team to maintain the capital budgets and forecasts to deliver projects in-line with complex airport operations whilst executing Sydney Airport’s strategic vision of capital expenditure and investment strategy targets.

AMP, Sydney NSW

 

The project at 124 Walker St, North Sydney evolved from a 600sqm Spec Suite for AMP Capital into a turnkey fitout for Strata Community Insurance, fostering collaboration and flexible work practices while integrating branding. Despite global economic challenges, it was successfully completed within the timeframe and budget.

Following this, BlueSkyBlue led the comprehensive project at 7 Macquarie Place for AMP Capital. This included setting new design standards with upgraded lift lobbies, bathrooms, tenancy divisions, base building refurbishments, and a partial integrated fitout. The project's success was due to effective leadership in managing accelerated timelines and scope changes.


AMP Retail, Sydney NSW

At 33 Alfred St Sydney, we successfully delivered multiple projects, including refurbishing the executive board room and creating a new AMP Workspace 'Concept Store'. These aimed to establish a flagship experience for a new distribution model and showcase for AMP customers. We facilitated key program activities, appointed suitable contractors, and managed a complex stakeholder and consultant environment to achieve comprehensive scope delivery within tight timelines and budget constraints.


Investa Property Group, Sydney NSW

Investa Property Group’s commercial refurbishment projects in Sydney, including the 31 Market Street ground floor foyer, level 17 and level 23 refurbishments. To meet the DDA and Premises Standards, 31 Market required modification of the ground floor entrance to accommodate for accessibility requirements. These works involved the installation of a new automatic entry door, installation of the newly approved Investa branding throughout all of ground floor, glazing and modifications to external buildings columns and landing. 

On level 17 the ‘general areas’ including lift lobby, bathrooms, tea point area and corridors were refurbished to a higher standard. These works had to be phased and managed around a very sensitive tenant. Level 23 involved the complete demolition of a fully furnished office, modification to the floors external facade and then a complete refurbishment of the whole level.


Westpac, Sydney

NSW

Following from the works on Westpac’s pilot retail branch project and varies office refurbishment projects in the original 275 Kent Street head office, led to further engagement to manage the 4 floors office refurbishment at 55 Market Street. The project involved the demolition of existing structures and installation of wall partitions to create new server rooms, breakout areas, meeting rooms and work stations, all fully fitted with high-quality finishes and fixture. As part of the refurbishment, base building lift lobbies, toilets and showers amenities were also upgraded to complement the new office. Works were successfully carried out in a highly occupied environment and completed within an accelerated construction program.
